1982 - 1983 Church Community Worker in North Tyneside.

1983 - 1987 Church Community Worker with the Middlesbrough Methodist Inner Area Project

1989 - 1992 Lay Worker with the Sheffield Carver Street Methodist Circuit.

1992 - 1998 Community Economic Development Worker with Industrial Miission in South Yorkshire

2000 - 2003 Commmunity Planning Officer with Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council

2003 to date Development Officer for Local Mission and Unity, The Methodist Church.
